As you enter the cemetery, you'll notice the magnificent gate, which was made of wrought iron and decorated with intricate designs


Walking through the gate, you'll be transported into a different world. The underground cemetery is composed of a series of crypts and tombs that are built into the walls of a circular well. It's believed that the circular shape of the cemetery symbolizes the continuity of life.

How to get here in Nagcarlan, Laguna?
To get to Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery, take a bus bound for San Pablo, Laguna. Or you can take a bus route to Batangas or Lucena that will pass in San Pablo. These buses are located at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue – Taft Avenue, Buendia-Avenue, or EDSA-Taft Avenue in Pasay City, they also pass by Alabang, Muntinlupa. Travel time is took 2 -3 hours depending on traffic and vehicle you use. When you are in San Pablo, Laguna, go to the terminal of jeepneys bound for Nagcarlan or Liliw. Tell the driver to drop you off at Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery. Travel time is roughly 20 to 30 minutes.

There's no entrance fee in Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery but you can donate any amount for the site’s continuous maintenance.
